The N-2 biomagnet used in decades of research by Dr. Ralph U. Sierra is approximately 3,800 gauss. It will penetrate all living matter up to 21 inches in depth.

Manufactured from Grade 8 ceramic material (the strongest ceramic material available), the N-2 delivers deep and consistent magnetic field coverage. The North pole (–) is clearly marked.

This magnet was used by Sierra, Davis, and Rawls back in the 1960s and 70s. From 1985 till today, it has been used by Dr. Irma Sierra and Dr. Jorge Jarrot at their chiropractic clinic in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in their magnetic therapy practice.

Traditional Uses & Applications

The N-2 magnet has traditionally been used as part of wellness-focused magnetic routines for individuals seeking deep magnetic field exposure over larger body areas. Due to its size and strength, it is commonly used while resting, sitting, or lying down.

In addition, the N-2 is widely used for magnetizing large quantities of water. Research has shown that drinking North pole magnetized water is very good for your health.

For more severe pain and inflammation, N-1 & N-2 magnetic therapy are the strongest and deepest penetrating magnets available. N-1 & N-2 can help speed up healing after a recent injury or surgery, and provide greater coverage for larger body areas like your abdomen, hips, thighs, chest, and back. The N-1 & N-2 effectively penetrate to a depth of 14 inches, targeting areas deeper within the body.

How to Use

• For this size, it's best to rest on or underneath the target area
• Center the magnet over the desired area with the gray North (–) side facing your body
• For added comfort, the magnet may be wrapped in a cloth or towel
• It may be placed:
  • Under a pillow
  • Under a thin mattress (under 10 in thick)
  • Inside a brace, extremity support, back or lumbar support
• The magnetic field will continue to pass through clothing, pillows, and bedding

It doesn't matter where you place the magnet; it can be directly on your body, over your clothing, under your pillow, or on top of a blanket—the magnetic fields will continue to provide you with relief. Because of the larger, heavier magnets, it's best used when you're sitting or lying down.

Use Duration

We recommend using magnetic therapy as often as you need it.

• Typical use ranges from 30–60 minutes, several times per day
• You can also sleep over it—just place it underneath the fitted lining of the bed, under the target area. This will make it more comfortable and prevents it from falling or twisting sides
• Be consistent, as continuous use of magnetic therapy daily will provide faster and more effective results
• Continue using the static magnets even when the discomfort is reduced for at least a couple of months to aid the natural healing process of the body
• The regeneration of cells could take nearly a year depending on the area of the body. We want rebuilding with new healthy cells
• You can use the North, negative polarity static magnetic therapy as needed for your relief and maintaining the benefits you have received

• Keep at least 18 inches away from magnetically sensitive items, including:
  • Credit cards
  • Computers, TVs, and electronics
  • Cooktops, machinery, scissors, knives, screwdrivers, and other metal objects
• Maintain distance from dangerous surfaces and metal objects
• Do not use magnets on or near:
  • Pacemakers
  • Defibrillators
  • Other implanted medical devices
  • Transdermal drug patches
• If you have a pacemaker, we recommend placing the magnet at least 20 inches away from your pacemaker (such as low back and lower extremities)

Care & Handling Notes

• This N-2, as well as the N-1, water and hand cylinders, being ceramic, may break if dropped to the floor
• If broken, you will have 2 new magnets from it—the strength will not be affected
• Store and handle with care
