One of the traditional applications of magnetic therapy is gentle support around the eye area. The Dr. Sierra Magnetic Eye Shields were designed to help relieve eye strain, reduce the appearance of tired or puffy eyes, and promote relaxation when used as part of a consistent wellness routine.

Originally created by Dr. Ralph U. Sierra in the 1970s and later refined by Dr. Irma I. Sierra, these eye shields apply North (–) polarity magnetic support over the eyelids for short, controlled periods of rest.

Product Design & Features

• Lightweight plastic eye shields that:
  • Clip onto eyeglasses, or
  • Rest gently over closed eyelids
• 4 flexible magnetic strips total
  • 2 strips per eye (placed back-to-back)
  • North (–) polarity facing the eye (clearly marked)
• Magnetic strength: approximately 1,800 gauss per strip
• Strip size: 1 in x 1.5 in
• Shield dimensions:
  • Front width: 5.7 in
  • Eye lens area: 2 in

Designed for comfort, these shields allow you to sit or lie down while resting, relaxing, or meditating.

How to Use

• Use with eyes closed only
• Place shields so the North (–) polarity faces the eyelids
• Recommended use:
  • 15 minutes once or twice daily
  • Preferably in the morning and before bedtime
  • For some users, sessions may be extended to up to 30 minutes, if comfortable
  • Use up to 6 days per week, allowing 1 rest day per week

⚠️ Do not wear while driving or during sun exposure.
Always use while seated or lying down.
