INGREDIENTS:

VITAMINS E, B-5, B-6.

Taking vitamins of the "B" group helps relieve irritability, to increase immunity with the development of menopause and also helps to improve the appearance of the skin during menopause. Especially in this period, the mineral pyridoxine "B6" and thiamine "B1" are isolated. Today, these are tranquilizers that help restore normal sleep, rest, significantly improve rest, mood. Vitamins "B" help to improve performance, regulate the tone of the nervous system.

VITAMIN B5 (Pantothenic Acid): Vitamin B5 is known as the anti-stress vitamin. Pantothenic acid plays a role in the production of the adrenal hormones and formation of antibodies, aids in vitamin utilization, and helps to convert fats, carbohydrates, and proteins into energy. It is needed to produce vital steroids and cortisone in the adrenal glands and is an essential element of coenzyme A, which is also thought to play a major role in the body's ability to cope with stress and strengthen the immune system.

VITAMIN B6 (Pyridoxine): Vitamin B6 must be obtained from the diet, because humans cannot synthesize it. It plays a vital role in the function of approximately 100 enzymes that catalyze essential chemical reactions in the body. These vitamins work together to sustain proper chemical reactions and support the adrenals in providing the necessary energy for our lives.

MINERALS: Calcium & Magnesium

Magnesium has a sedative effect on a woman's body in such a difficult period. Thanks to the intake of this element, you can easily eliminate irritability, improve sleep, and fight insomnia plus cholesterol levels are significantly reduced. During the entire climatic period, regardless of age, all women need magnesium . Taking magnesium helps in the prevention of myocardial infarction.

HERBS:

BLACK COHOSH EXTRACT (Cimicifuga racemosa): Black Cohosh has been used by Native Americans for more than two hundred years, after they discovered the root of the plant helped relieve menstrual cramps and symptoms of menopause. These days it is still used for menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes/flushes, irritability, mood swings and sleep disturbances. It is also used for PMS, menstrual irregularities, and uterine spasms. It is considered an analgesic and an anti-spasmodic, Black Cohosh tends to relieve nagging aches and pains of the day so sleep can follow. It is also considered an anti-rheumatic and a specific for low back pain particularly when contributed to by uterine or prostate dysfunction. It is also a specific for aches and pains related to the menstrual cycle as well as the menopausal period.

Black cohosh extract is approved by the German Ministry of Health for the treatment of menopausal symptoms related to estrogen deficiency and has been used there since 1956 for relief of menopausal symptoms. A dozen studies or more conducted throughout the 1980s and 1990s confirm that the long-standing use of black cohosh for menopausal symptoms has scientific validity. For example, in a German study involving 629 women, black cohosh improved physical and psychological menopausal symptoms in more than 80% of the participants within 6-8 weeks. In a second study, 60 menopausal women were given black cohosh extract, conjugated estrogens, or diazepam (a leading anti-anxiety medication) for three months. Those who received black cohosh reported feeling significantly less depressed and anxious than those who received either estrogens or diazepam. In another study, 80 menopausal women were treated for 12 weeks with black cohosh extract, conjugated estrogens, or placebo. Black cohosh improved anxiety, menopause and vaginal symptoms. In addition, the number of hot flashes dropped from 5 to less than 1 average daily occurrences in the black cohosh group compared to those taking estrogen in whom hot flashes dropped from 5 to 3.5 daily occurrences.

WILD YAM ROOT (Dioscorea villosa): Widely used by Native Americans, Wild yam has a long history of giving women relief from hot flashes, insomnia, hot flashes, cramps, headaches, migraines, and vaginal dryness.

RHUBARB BARK (Rheum officinale): This herb contains anthraquinone glycoside, a stimulant cathartic that improves the smooth muscle tone of the large intestine, yet is not habit forming. Researchers found 12 weeks of treatment rhubarb, significantly reduced the frequency and severity of hot flashes and anxiety in perimenopausal women.

DAMIANA is commonly used by mouth as an aphrodisiac and to treat sexual problems. It is also used to treat stomach complains such as dyspepsia, diarrhea, and constipation and to improve symptoms of menopause and premenstrual syndrome (PMS).

HOPS (Humulus lupulus): A sedative and nervine, Hops is a specific for exhaustion and nervous tension. It is used for nervousness, irritability, a disposition to brood over trouble, delirium, insomnia, cerebral hyperemia, and mental irritability. It tends to allay irritations and produce sleep. Hops are also specific for the digestive system, in particular the stomach.

CHASTE BERRY TREE (Vitex agnus castus): The progestins in chaste tree berries have long been recognized as useful to treat conditions involving female reproduction. In early Greek and Roman medicine, they were used to stop hemorrhaging after childbirth. As early as the 16th century, chaste tree was accepted as part of medicine. Beginning in the 1930’s, German researchers have conducted laboratory and human studies that seem to document the potential usefulness of chaste tree berries in relieving menstrual and menopausal complaints. Chaste Berry suppresses the over-production of estrogen and is widely used to balance hormones. Many double-blind placebo-controlled studies have proven its effectiveness, for example, the Institute for Health Care and Science in Germany found that 52% of women taking this supplement experienced significant improvements in menstrual symptoms such as bloating, headaches and irritability. Chaste Tree also reduces estrogen levels while elevating progesterone levels, and has strong anti inflammatory, antibacterial and antifungal effects which help the body to shrink fibroids.

DONG QUAI continues to be an important remedy in traditional Chinese medicine for treating menstrual disorders and menopausal symptoms, for anemia, and to improve blood circulation. It is thought to “tonify” and “invigorate” the blood and is often used in formulations with other herbs.  Dong quai is widely promoted as a “woman’s herb” and is sometimes referred to as “female ginseng” because Asian ginseng is used as a tonic for men. It is sought by many patients with breast cancer to relieve hot flashes and other adverse effects related to cancer treatments.

The agent has estrogenic effects; patients with hormone-sensitive cancers should avoid its use.
