A flat 2,000 gauss negative polarity (north pole) magnets at each end! The copper base features a shiny silver, gold and copper plating and beautiful design and pattern. It is a plating color covering the solid copper material. We do suggest the user keep the ring away from the water when washing hand, it can be keep ring color more longer. However if exposed too much to water, the ring will become "copperish color" and most important the magnets are permanent so the therapy continues.
