CBD Dosage

There are no official guidelines for their dosage.

Finding the ideal CBD dosage is dependent on several factors, including the individual's weight, diet, metabolism, other medications, genetics, and medical condition, as well as the formulation and quality of the CBD. Therefore, it's not yet possible to develop universal CBD dosage guidelines that work effectively for everyone, but well-educated estimates can still be made using the limited information currently available. Of course, novice users should start with a lower dose and work their way up until the optimal CBD dosage is found.

Dr. Sierra’s Naturals Hemp oils offers 2 options of milligrams, 250mg and 750mg.

Figuring out how much CBD is in our oils is simple — just read the supplement facts section on the label.

On the 250mg bottle it says 4.2mg of CBD, 15 drops (.5mL), so to get 8.4mg of CBD per day I would take 30 drops (1ml).

1ounce=30mL= 60 servings =250mg Bottle.

Just a note 1 filled dropper is @15 drops.

ANTI-STRESS * SLEEP * RELAX * ANXIETY * PROTECT * RESTORE * NON-TOXIC * NO SIDE EFFECT

Finding the right dose of cannabidiol (CBD) for pain relief, however, isn’t that simple.  Remember more is not necessarily better.

MY RECOMMENDATIONS:

For Stress, Anxiety or Joint Pain try 4.2 mg dose 2 to 3 times per day. You can graduate up or down.

Here are Universal Recommendation that I use and would like to share:

Weight Group Recommended Dosage for Low Effects

Recommended Dosage for Moderate Effects

Recommended Dosage for Strong Effects
Light (less than 130 lbs.) 11 mg or less 12 mg to 14 mg

15 mg to 17 mg

Medium (130 to 230 lbs.) 18 mg or less 19 mg to 23 mg 24 mg to 27 mg
Heavy (more than 230 lbs.) 23 mg or less 24 mg to 30 mg 31 mg to 45 mg

To calculate in our 250mg bottle just divide the recommended dosage by 4.2. It will give you how many servings of 15 drops you need/day.

For example:

  • 30 drops= 8.4 (2 servings of 15 drops (.5mL))
  • 60 drops=16.8mg (4 servings of 15 drops (.5mL))
  • 75 drops =21 mg (5 servings of 15 drops (.5mL))
  • 150 drops= 42mg (10 servings of 15 drops (.5mL))

Expect some trial and error. No two patients respond to CBD in the same way. Many people do not see a difference in symptoms after one or two doses of CBD. It can take up to eight weeks of regular use to feel an impact. It can take a little while to get it right, so be patient.

If you have side effects, stop or lower the dose. CBD won’t get you high the way that cannabis with THC can, but it may still cause side effects. The most common side effects are fatigue and lethargy, and in rare cases diarrhea.

No matter which form of CBD you use, pay attention to how you feel. If you notice any negative side effects, stop or lower the dose and consult your doctor.
